As well as writing fourteen professional pantomime scripts this year for venues across the country, such as the Empire, Liverpool, the Hippodrome, Bristol, the Wimbledon Theatre, the Opera House, Manchester, the Milton Keynes Theatre and others, Eric has been busy on stage appearing as Sir Toby Belch in "Twelfth Night" at Stafford Castle and as the Rev. Shaw Moore in the musical "Footloose!" Combined with radio work and consultancy duties for First Family Entertainment - this has proved to be a busy year so far for Eric.
He is now very much looking forward to appearing as Widow Twankey and directing the production of "Aladdin" at the Opera House in Manchester this festive seaon. Check the news page for further casting details and do come along to see what will be the most spectacular show in Manchester this Christmas time.

There is nothing like a pantomime dame well schooled in the art and Eric Potts is a splendid example. His Widow Twankey, with each outfit more outrageous than the last, is a delight. - "The Stage" - Dec 2008

Eric Potts, playing Aladdin's mum Widow Twankey, was also excellent, playing Hardy to Walsh's Laurel in most of the scenes they share. In fact, the pair are such presences that scenes without them seem to be lacking something.
Neil Toon as Aladdin and Eloise Irving as Princess Jasmine play the romantic couple well, but it's Walsh and Potts the audience want to see. - "Surrey Times" - Dec 2008
